Exterior Painting

Weather-ready exterior painting built for Boundary Country seasons—hot summers, cold winters, and everything between.

Exterior paint has one job above all: keeping water out. Our climate swings hard between seasons, so prep and product choice matter far more outside than in. We wash, scrape, sand, and prime properly, then use coatings rated for the exposure each surface actually gets.

We pay close attention to the details that cause premature failure—caulking joints, sealing penetrations, and making sure bare wood is protected. Skipping those steps is why exterior paint peels in three years instead of lasting a decade.

If your siding or trim has rot underneath, we'll show you what we find and explain your options before we paint over anything. You'll get a straight answer, not a surprise.

Common questions

When is the best time of year for exterior painting?

Late spring through early fall, when temperatures are consistently above 10°C and surfaces are dry. We'll tell you honestly if conditions aren't right rather than rushing a job that won't last.

How long does exterior paint last here?

With proper prep and quality products, eight to twelve years is realistic for most surfaces. Poor preparation is the main reason exterior paint fails early.

How long will my house be tied up?

Most homes take one to two weeks including prep and dry time. You'll be able to use your doors and move around normally throughout.
