How long does a siding replacement take?
A typical single-family home takes one to two weeks, depending on size, how much repair is needed underneath, and access around the house.
Can I put new siding over the old?
Sometimes, but we usually advise against it. Removing the old material lets us inspect the sheathing and flashing—covering it up hides problems that get expensive later.
What siding holds up best in our climate?
Fibre cement handles our freeze-thaw cycles very well and holds paint longer. Vinyl costs less and needs less maintenance. We'll walk you through the trade-offs for your budget.
